Publicize Privacy Policy

Our Company is part of the Publicize Group which includes Publicize International and Publicize Direct. This privacy policy will explain how our organization uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

What data do we collect?

Publicize collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Personal and Business Contact information, such as your first name, last name, postal address, email address, telephone number, job title, and employer name
  • Profile information, such as your username, picture, industry, interests and preferences
  • Content you post on our Site (text, images, photographs, messages, comments or any other kind of content)
  • Feedback and correspondence, such as the information you provide in your responses to surveys, when you participate in market research activities, report a problem with our Site, receive customer support or otherwise correspond with us.

  • Voluntarily provide any information in conversations with one of our colleagues.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

Publicize may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • third-party functionality on our webpages that measure behavior, like Hotjar and Active Campaign.

How will we use your data?

Publicize collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your order and manage your account.
  • Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
  • We use your data in order to provide you with additional materials that may be of interest to you, further personalize our service to you, and gain insights on our audience. 

If you agree, Publicize will share your data with our partner companies so that they may offer you their products and services.

How do we store your data?

Your data will be stored in up to 3 places: Active Campaign, Salesforce, and our own dashboard database. Our company will keep your name, email address, company name and details in Active Campaign for 1 year of inactivity. Inactivity relates to no email interaction, no resources downloaded, and no meetings scheduled. Once the 1 year time period has expired, we will delete your data automatically. In Salesforce, as well as our dashboard database, your information will be kept for 3 years. 3 years after registration, or 3 years after contract cancellation, whichever one comes first, your data will automatically be deleted.

Marketing

Publicize would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like. If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop Publicize from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other members of the Publicize Group. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please click here.

What are your data protection rights?

Publicize would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request Our Company for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Our Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Our Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Our Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
